As the renter of this unit, you agree to the following:
1. By renting this property, you are assuming all risks and liabilities for any damage done to person or
property, agents, employees, or visitors occasioned by the present or future condition of the premises, both
latent and manifest. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries to guests or loss of money or valuables
of any kind.
2. A reservation request is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation notice. Please check it carefully for
accuracy.
3. Substitution of comparable properties may be made without notice or liability, should the property you
reserved become unavailable for rent due to sale or other reason not under the control of Shoreline Condo
Rentals. You may choose comparable available property at the published rate or receive a refund of your
Initial Reservation Payment.
4. Although we strive to keep air conditioners, televisions, VCR/DVDs, appliances, cable service, etc. in good
working order, we can not guarantee against mechanical breakdowns. Also, there may be periods when the
pool is closed for cleaning or repairs. No refund or rate adjustment will be made for these situations. In case
of mechanical breakdown in the unit, we will strive to repair it as soon as possible after being notified by you
of the problem. Report any problems immediately to Shoreline Condo Rentals at (225) 963-1953. Do not
report problems to the Condominium Association, as they are not responsible for them.
5. If you must cancel your rental dates, a ninety (90) day notice prior to arrival must be given. Failure to do so
will result in forfeiture of the down payment. For cancellations giving proper 90-day notice, there is a $50.00
processing fee.
6. Full rental payment must be received twenty-one (21) days prior to check in date
7. Once the full rental payment is made, there are no refunds for any reason except for a Mandatory
Evacuation. There are no other exceptions, please don?t ask. We recommend that you consider taking out a
Vacation Insurance policy. You can compare several policies at www.InsureMyTrip.com
8. Rental for periods of inclement weather will not be refunded. However, if there is a Mandatory Evacuation
ordered by local authorities due to a hurricane or tropical storm, all unused rents while the evacuation order
is in effect will be returned. If the unit is uninhabitable due to storm damage, all unused rents will be returned.
9. Unless married, you must be at least 21 years of age to rent a condo.
10. We reserve the right to refuse rentals, and discontinue occupancy if in our judgment your occupancy of
the unit is detrimental to the property.
11. We reserve the right to enter the premises at any time for the purpose of inspection, repair, or rental
management.
12. Our guests understand that our condos are privately owned, and they take good care of them as if they
are their own. However, in order to protect the owners, Shoreline Condo Rentals requires you to furnish a
valid credit card to guarantee against damages. If you damage the property, you agree that this credit card
can be used to pay for repairs.
13. Linens are furnished, however, they will not be exchanged during your stay.
14. The total number occupying the unit cannot exceed the number noted on the website. An exception may
be made for infants.
15. This is a non-smoking unit. Evidence of smoking in the unit will cause forfeiture of the entire rent including
deposit and immediate tenant eviction.
16. No pets are allowed in the unit or on the condominium premises. A pet or evidence of a pet will cause
forfeiture of the entire rent including deposit and immediate tenant eviction.
17. This is a family-oriented condominium. No house parties are allowed. Violation of this rule will cause
forfeiture of the entire rent including deposit and immediate tenant eviction. No sororities, fraternities, school,
or civic groups are allowed.
18. Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. on the arrival date and Check-out is before 10:00 a.m. on the departure date.
Please observe these times to allow the cleaning crew to do their job for the next guests. Please be sure to
check in between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p. m. If you check in later than 8:00 p.m. and there are any problems,
you will NOT be able to contact anyone at Shoreline Condo Rentals until the next day.
19. All payments using a credit card will be charged a 4% processing fee.
20. There is a $30 non-refundable Booking Fee
